The Partnership for A Safer Lake County is a group of over 30 organizations and individuals committed to ending abuse of all forms in Lake County. We are committed to creating a multi-faceted human abuse prevention network that will combat all forms of abuse in the County including child abuse, elder abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, LGBTQ crimes, and domestic violence.
We are a community of organizations and individuals committed to ending violence in Lake County through public awareness, coordination of services, and advocacy.
We envision a county that is inclusive, respectful and safe for all people.
The group that founded The Partnership for a Safer Lake County believed that Lake County did not need another non-profit. The Partnership for a Safer Lake County is thus not a 501c3 organization and operates under a steering committee that is led by co-chairs as opposed to a board of directors. A Safe Place is the Partnership’s fiscal sponsor and has applied for (and successfully received) grant funding to cover some of the expenses the Partnership has incurred and will continue to incur in furthering its mission.
